Deadspace - The Promise of Oblivion

Ultra-Limited Edition — 50 Individually Numbered Copies. Never to be Reprinted.

Originally released in 2015, The Promise of Oblivion stands as an early document of Deadspace's exploration of the darker extremes of the human condition.

Written around themes of mortality, depression, illness, hope, longing, agony, hatred, and power, the album confronts both the failures and triumphs of being human. At its core is an exploration of freedom: the tension between darkness and light, and the choices we make to live, love, breathe, rebel, destroy, or disappear.

Musically, The Promise of Oblivion exists in the space between depressive and raw black metal, with elements of goth rock, atmosphere, and emotional extremity woven throughout.

Now, for the first time, The Promise of Oblivion is presented as an officially licensed reel-to-reel edition.
